 Documentary „Knowing the Score“ premieres in the UK

„Knowing the Score“ is a portrait of Limelight’s Artist of the Year for 2022, the conductor Simone Young. Directed by Australian filmmaker Janine Hosking and produced by Margie Bryant, the feature-length documentary incorporates archival footage, interviews and fly-on-the-wall scenes of rehearsals, meetings and backstage life. Executive Producer Cate Blanchett says: „Simone Young is one of the world’s most significant and trailblazing maestros and it is a great privilege to be a small part of this insightful documentary that celebrates her life and her work.“ The biopic of an inspiring, brilliant woman who made it to the top in a Man’s world wielding her wit, determination, sense of humour and baton premieres in the UK on 20 September 2023 in the Babican Cinema London.
