Simon O´Neill - Heldentenor - General Management

We are delighted to announce that Heldentenor SIMON O´NEILL has joined the roster of Arsis Artist Management in cooperation with Michael Lewin International Artists' Management in Vienna.  Mr. O’Neill most recently appeared on the Grammy Award®winning recording of Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, as Florestan in Fidelio with Simone Young and the Sydney Symphony,as Boris in Kát’a Kabanová with the London Symphony Orchestra and in the title role in Wagner’s Siegfried  on tour with the Sinfonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle.

He has appeared as Siegmund in the Keith Warner staging of Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen with Sir Antonio Pappano at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, as well as the Otto Schenk and Robert Lepage Ring Cycles at The Metropolitan Opera, the Guy Cassier production at Teatro alla Scala, and the Berlin Staatsoper with Daniel Barenboim, along with frequent performances of Die Walküre at the Wiener Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, and Staatsoper Hamburg, among others.  O’Neill has also performed the title roles of Lohengrin in the Hans Neuenfels/Andris Nelsons production and Parsifal in the celebrated Stefan Herheim/Danielle Gatti production at the Bayreuth Festival. He has also appeared with James Levine at Carnegie Hall; Daniel Barenboim and Riccardo Muti at the Salzburg Festival; Simone Young at Opéra National de Paris; Sir Simon Rattle and the Berlin Philharmonic; and Jaap van Zweden with the New York Philharmonic.
