Nikita Voronchenko

Baritone Nikita Voronchenko will be an ensemble member at the Tyrolean Landestheater Innsbruck in the 2023/24 season, where he will appear as Pantalone (Love for Three Oranges), Marcello (La Bohème) as well as in Hartmann's Simplicius Simplicissimus and Wolfgang Mitterer's Peter Pan - The dark side.

Nikita Voronchenko was a member of the opera studio of the Komische Oper Berlin, where he performed in various productions such as Barrie Kosky's Rusalka, as Kuligin (Katja Kabanova) and in children's operas such as Jim Knopf.

Nikita Voronchenko studied at Gnessin College and the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts in Moscow, where he appeared in a production of Orff's Die Kluge / Der Mond. Also in Moscow, he sang in the world premiere of the opera The Black Square by Ilya Demutsky. At the Moscow Conservatory he embodied the Captain and Saretsky in a concert performance of Eugene Onegin. He collaborated with Kirill Serebrennikov on the play Baroque at Moscow's Gogol Center.

Back in 2014, the young baritone won the Young Artist Award at the Elena Obraztsova Competition in St. Petersburg.
