YOEL GAMZOU conducts "Salome“ with JENNIFER HOLLOWAY singing the title role at the Wiener Staatsoper.

Gamzou is the recipient of various prizes and awards, including: the ECHO Klassik Award in the category emerging artist of the year “conductor” in 2017; the prestigious “Princess Margriet Award” in 2013; and the Berenberg Culture Prize (Hamburg) in 2012. Gamzou was born to an artistic family and grew up in New York, London and Tel Aviv. He had the honor of being Carlo Maria Giulini’s final student.
In recent years, the American soprano Jennifer Holloway has established herself internationally as one of the leading sopranos in the youthful dramatic repertoire. The Vienna State Opera will present Jennifer Holloway as Salome. At the Frankfurt Opera, she will make her role debut as Kundry (“Parsifal”) in a new production under Thomas Guggeis. She will also sing the soprano part in Beethoven's 9th Symphony under Eun Sun Kim in San Francisco and Saint-Saens' “L' Ancetre Nunciata” in Monte Carlo.
