Eun Sun Kim gives her debut at the Teatro alla Scala with "La bohème"

“On the centennial of the birth of Franco Zeffirelli, Teatro alla Scala again proposes his classic production of La bohème, a piece of history of the theatre staged for the first time in 1963 with Herbert v. Karajan conducting and since then reprised regularly, now a vital element in the identity of Teatro alla Scala. Wielding the baton will be Eun Sum Kim.” (Source: La Scala)

Ms Kim is the music director at San Francisco Opera where this season her productions include John Adams' Antony and Cleopatra, La traviata, Madama Butterfly, and Dialogues des Carmelites.
