Adela Zaharia makes her debut at the Metropolitan Opera, performing the role of Musetta in Puccini's La Bohème

ADELA ZAHARIA makes her debut at the Metropolitan Opera, performing the role of Musetta in Puccini's La Bohème.

The performances are scheduled for January 11, 15, 18, 22, and 25, 2025.

Internationally acclaimed as a specialist in bel canto repertoire and as an interpreter of Mozart, Adela Zaharia is celebrated by both audiences and critics alike.

In the 2024/25 season, in addition to her debut at the MET in New York, Adela Zaharia will perform as Lucia di Lammermoor at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. She will also return to the Deutsche Oper Berlin as both Lucia and Violetta (La Traviata). Additionally, she will reprise the role of Donna Anna in the new production of Don Giovanni (directed by Kirill Serebrennikov) at the Komische Oper Berlin. At Teatro Real Madrid, where she is a regular guest, she will once again take the stage as Violetta (La Traviata). Furthermore, she will return to her former home company, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, also as Violetta.
