The mezzo-soprano Eve-Maud Hubeaux has been considered one of the leading role representatives of her field at least since her Amneris in the Aida production of the Salzburg Festival 2022. With her successful performances at houses such as the Vienna State Opera (Don Carlos / Eboli), the Opéra de Paris (Hamlet / Gertrud), the Liceu Barcelona (La Favorite / Léonor de Guzman), the Deutsche Oper Berlin (Carmen) and La Monnaie Bruxelles (Tristan und Isolde / Brangäne), Eve-Maud Hubeaux has established herself internationally.

The 2024/25 season begins for Eve-Maud Hubeaux as Eboli in a new production of Don Carlo at the Vienna State Opera (Philippe Jordan / Kirill Serebrennikov). She will make a guest appearance as Carmen in San Francisco before opening the new Ring at the Opéra de Paris as Fricka in Rheingold. In Valencia, she will appear as Concepcion in Ravel's L'heure espagnole. As Carmen, she will delight audiences at La Monnaie in Brussels in one of her favourite roles.

Important engagements in recent seasons include Laura (La Gioconda) at the Salzburg Easter Festival under Pappano, High Priestess in La Vestale at the Opéra de Paris, Mère Marie in a new production of Les dialogues des carmelites at the Vienna State Opera and Eboli (Don Carlo) at the Berlin State Opera. At the Salzburg Festival she made guest appearances as Amneris, Gertrude (Hamlet) and Clairon (Capriccio). She has already sung Eboli in the French version of Don Carlos at the Vienna State Opera, the Hamburg State Opera and the Gran Theatre de Geneve. She also sang Amneris at the Savonlinna Festival, Carmen at La Monnaie Bruxelles, Judith in Bluebeard's Castle and Brangäne in Tristan und Isolde at the Opéra de Lyon, and the leading female role of Dona Prouhèze in the world premiere of Le soulier de satin by Marc-André Dalbavie at the Opéra de Paris, Baba the Turk in the new production of Stravinsky's Rake's Progress staged by Lydia Steier at the Basel Theatre, Scozzone in Saint-Saen's rarely performed opera Ascanio in concert at the Geneva Opera, the Handel roles of Nerone (Agrippina) and Cornelia (Giulio Cesare) as well as the title role in Lully's Isis, both under the direction of Christophe Rousset, and Isolier in Rossini's Comte Ory at the Toulon Opera.

Her concert repertoire includes Bach's St. Matthew Passion under Leo Hussain (Brussels), Rossini's Messa di Gloria (Paris), Berlioz' Les Nuits d'été under Marko Letonja (Strasbourg), Wagner's Wesendonck Lieder (Orchestre National d' Ile de France), Verdi's Messa da Requiem under Teodor Currentzis (Lucerne, Milan), Mahler's Symphony No. 2 (Las Palmas) and his Lied von der Erde.

Recordings available so far include: Lully's Isis (Aparte), Mahler's Lied von der Erde (Klarte), Franck's Rédemption (Musique en Wallonie Editions) and Saint-Saens' Ascanio (B Record).

Eve-Maud Hubeaux was born in Geneva and first studied piano at the Lausanne Conservatory before beginning her vocal studies there. From the opera studio of the Opéra National du Rhin Strasbourg, she developed her international career. She is a laureate of numerous competitions, including the Belvedere International Competition (2013) and the 5th Renata Tebaldi International Competition.
