Vera-Lotte Boecker has been a member of the ensemble of the Komische Oper Berlin since the season 2017/18. In the 2019/20 season she will perform in three new productions there, the first one being Hans Werner Henze’s The Bassarids as Autonoe, directed by Barrie Kosky and under the baton of Vladimir Jurowski, a role she debuted at the Salzburg Festival in 2018 (Dir: K. Warlikowski; Cond.: Kent Nagano). After that she will perform the roles of Lydia in Jaromír Weinberger’s Frühlingsstürme directed by Barrie Kosky, and Ann Trulove in The Rake’s Progress in a production by Kirill Serebrennikov. She will further make her role-debut as Violetta (La traviata) at the Komische Oper, and also sing Pamina and Musetta there. Also in 2019/20, Ms Boecker will sing Prinzessin Natalie von Oranien in Henze’s Prinz von Homburg at the Staatsoper Stuttgart, in a production by Stephan Kimmig which is available on DVD. Her further recordings include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Dresden Symphonic with Michael Sanderling.
