German soprano Anja Kampe is one of today‘s most important singers. The Berlin State Opera presents the soprano as Minnie in a new production of Puccini’s Fanciulla del West.

The most important engagements of the past seasons include her debut at the Metropolitan Opera New York as Senta in The Flying Dutchman (2020), the new productions of Fanciulla del West (2019) at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and at the Frankfurt Opera, the new production Tristan und Isolde (2018) under the baton of Daniel Barenboim at the Berlin State Opera, the new production of Parsifal (2018) at the Opéra National de Paris with Philippe Jordan conducting, Sieglinde at the Bayreuth Festival 2018 and at the Munich Opera Festival 2018 with Maestro Kirill Petrenko.

With Sieglinde at the side of Placido Domingo, Anja Kampe achieved her international breakthrough at the Washington National Opera.
